A Good Friday Scripture Walk: Prophecy and Fulfillment

I hope you’ll take a moment to reflect on Good Friday—as prophecy met fulfillment, promise became reality, and love chose the cross.

To Set Up Your Good Friday Scripture Walk

Print one copy for yourself or one for each person participating. If you can, spread the four pages in separate spots around a room, such as a table, a chair, or a windowsill , so each stop feels like a distinct moment of reflection rather than pages in a stack. A simple object at each stop can help mark the space: a branch, a nail, a cross, a candle. Nothing elaborate is needed. The point is simply to slow down, move intentionally, and give yourself permission to linger. You may want to play some inspirational instrumental music.

To Use It

Move through the first three stops at your own pace, reading the prophecy and its fulfillment before sitting with the reflection and praying the closing prayer. Then bring page four back to your table and write. Keep what you write. It belongs to you.
